6 acres of fenced land with a superb view of the Rockies. There's parking for 30 or 40 cars, a separate small/timid dog area, and a trail made of "crusher fines" (crushed gravel) that winds around the inside of the perimeter (0.4 miles if you walk the whole distance). There are poop bag stations -- so please bring your saved newspaper and grocery bags to replenish the supply. There are bowls for water, but please bring your own -- or join the gallon exchange. Take an empty gallon container, refill it, and return it. There are plans for some sheltered benches and a few more natural features like big tree-trunks and boulders for seating. The grass is the natural plains grass so it gets very long in spring, but you can bet it will be brown from the summer sun and trampled down by all the dogs who have discovered this wonderful dog park.
